Eldar Briefing
Farseer Morvyn has searched the future. Many strands include the rise of a mighty Ork Warboss called Azog Grubsnikka. The ancient Farseer has seen that Grubsnikka is not a feral, bloodthirsty, mindless mon-keigh like many of his kind. Instead, Grubsnikka is calculating and cunning by the standards of his race. He seeks to lead a bloodly campaign to conquer entire star systems.

This would be of no concern to the Eldar. However, Grubsnikka seems intent on discovering and using arcane artifacts of the Eldar which could cause unimaginable devastation. Morvyn cannot allow such power to rest in the hands of a foolish mon-keigh. Thus, Grubsnikka's campaign must be thwarted before he becomes unstoppable.

The opportunity for interference has presented itself. The Warboss is scouring the ruins of an Imperial city. It seems that he is seeking an Imperial fusion core - perhaps with the intent to create a bomb. Farseer Morvyn intends to let the Warboss have the core, but only after he has set it to self destruct and killed the Warboss.

Deployment
Eldar Deployment is as follows:
Farseer Morvyn is in the 3rd floor of Building B4. The Guardian squads are deployed on Road 9, the 2nd floor of Building B4, and in the ruins of Building B5. Only Guardian Squad B on Road 9 is beginning the game mounted. The Swooping Hawk squads are deployed on Road 12 and in Building B6. The Falcon tank is also in Building B6.

Ork Deployment is as follows:
Warboss Grubsnikka and Slugga Mob A are mounted in the Battlewagon on Road 15. Slugga Mob B and the Kommando squad are deployed in Building B9. The Loota Boyz are on the ground floor of Building B10 and the Wyrdboy is on the second floor of Building B10. The Shoota Boyz are deployed on the second floor Building B13.

Rescue Markers are deployed around the Courtyard and near both broken wall sections of Building B1

First Turn
Eldar and Orks diced off with the higher roll taking first turn. The first roll was 5-4-2 versus 5. The second roll was 6-6-5 versus 5. Eldar won first turn.

Objective
The objective of the battle is to discover objective marker 6 and be in possession of that marker at the end of the game. There are six objective markers positioned around the center of the board. Each one has a number 1-6. Any infantry model may flip a marker to check its number. If the result is not 6, the marker is discarded. Once objective marker 6 is discovered, all other markers will be removed and marker 6 will be replaced with an appropriate model.

Any infantry model may carry the objective marker according to the Rescue Mission rules. Models may not carry the marker if they are falling back. The marker may not be damaged or be targeted nor may it be removed from the board. All other Rescue mission rules apply as per page 190 of the Rulesbook.

Notes
I inadvertently deployed the Warlocks with the Eldar Guardian Squads (they are not part of the game and have been removed.

I also increased the deployment range from 6" to 12" to allow units to gain access to the entire buildings in which they have been deployed.

Finally, I took the liberty of spinning building B5 to allow better cover from the wall.

Cool! The WS's are a bit odd but I like the Farseer Jetbike and it's nice to see where all the units are.

Hmm yes i do see that there are somoe details missing and some things i forgot to erase now :P... Oh well i'll fix them when i post up the map after turn 1.

It was just the large size of the gap between the two protruding parts of the hull at the front that made them look a little strange.
Also, if you want me to add effects like shooting/smoke before you post the maps each turn let me know. 8)

Hm ok, once i've done the unit movements and damage/casualty effects i'll send you the image or a linky to it and you can add smoke and shots and whatnot.
