When I first got into the Eldar, I was all about the troops/aspect warriors. I loved the pathfinders, dire avengers and striking scorpions.

Now, the only ones in my list are the DA's. Instead I have guardian jetbikes and war walkers. Can anyone help me get the troops I prefer back into my army?

This is inevitable as you realise how important it is to have your speciliased troops in the right place at the right time.
If you want to footlslog (which will mean you have lots of points to spent on extra bodies) you want to invest in Conceal and forget about loading up on expensive Exarchs (which you may loose to enemy fire).

Quick, play against an army your preferred warriors would do awesome against. Then, if your mech army does well, keep telling yourself how well you would have done if you had your old list. If it does poorly, blame the mech list and take out your preferred troops to "show them how its done" against your handpicked foe.

Nightwing, please PM me and I'll give you my address. You can send all of your mechanized forces to me. That should free up space to get the Aspect Warriors. :P

Actually, as Rezzy said, you will need some mechanization to support your forces. Mechanized Eldar is necessary in some amount to allow relatively fragile Eldar units to close into combat more quickly.

I don't want to get shuffled off to the eldar army section, so here's a simple layout of my army. It changes on whether I'm playing necrons or tau, but here's the core.

HQ:
Farseer

Elites:
Fire dragons or scorpions as needed

Troops:
10 DA's
3 guardian jetbikes

wave serpent
falcon
war walker

That sounds like a reasonably balanced list to me.
If you want to bulk out the force a bit you could drop the War-Walker and Falcon and replace them with a Wraithlord and some Wraithguard or more Guardians. If you want to risk it you could even have some Dark Reapers as opposed to the Falcon for Heavy Support.

Well if your going mechinized upgrade that farseer put him on a jetbike I did this and so far every game he has taken at least his points if not more....Doom and Spear..the spear is great it can = 3 lascannon shots on vehicles!!!! and when you can move just about to the other side of the board in 1 turn ..turn 2 your killing a vehicle then move him into possition to Doom a squad and then drop your scorpions or banshees on them ...... I did this on an 8 man terminator sqd... and ive seen banshees kill termies b4 but never seen a total whipe in 1 turn..verry nice

instead of the jetbikes put in 2 squads of 5 rangers, while kicking the war walkers out for something cheap like a vibrocannon. spend the rest od the points on a direavenger exarch, and some extra gear for the farseer.
