Default Tactica: Aspect warriors

This is just a little something to help people with the aspects.

Dire Avengers- used as troops, tacticly flexible, better armoured and better BS then guardians.

Striking scorpians- close combat aspect, use for asualts and protecting important units.

Howling banshees- close combat aspect, fast, used for clearing out pockets of enemies.

Warp Spiders- use for securing objectives, close range fire.

Fire Dragons- use for taking out heavily armoured troops, light to heavy vehicles.

Shining Spears- use for tank hunting and taking out hevely armoured troops.

Dark Reapers- long range support.

Swooping hawks- deep striking, use to confuse enemy.

hope this helps anyone.

I'll modify this a bit if I may.

Dire Avengers- used as troops, tactically flexible, better armoured and better BS then guardians. They don''t have the option of heavy weapons and will often get charged due to their short ranged weaponry. Dire Swords are nasty against multi-wound critters, but the exarch will end up doing all the fighting if you get stuck in combat. As always, give these guys support.

Striking scorpians- close combat aspect, amazing against lightly armoured swarms as they have high numbers of attacks. Not particularly good against power armoured tropos and rather slow, but more resilient than the banshees.

Howling banshees- close combat aspect, fast, great against T3 or 4 units with good armour. Faster then the scorpions but less likely to survive if they enemy isn't wiped out.

Warp Spiders- Highly mobile, able to jump through impassable terrain. This unit is good at high strength short ranged fire, followed by jumping back out of charge range. Heavily armoured and very good in the new rules.

Fire Dragons- use for taking out heavily armoured troops, light to heavy vehicles. A unit with melta weapons as standard. Need I say more? Drop them out of a transport and watch the marines melt.

Shining Spears- use for tank hunting and taking out hevely armoured troops. Expensive in points, but capable of sniping and are very good at providing a supporting assault unit.

Dark Reapers- long range support. Ideal aginst marines, but limit their field of fire or they will get shot to peices. Deploy them behind cover to provide firepower obliquely across the board and scare the enemy out of certain avenues of advance.

Swooping hawks- deep striking, use to confuse enemy. Good against low T, low armour units, and highly mobile. The exarch can be lethal in combat against marines with sustained attack, but the main strength of the unit is mobile support shooting.

But since when was the dire avenger exarch able to take withdraw?

Isn't he only able to take defend and/or distract?
