Default Most useful Farseer power.

Over all the powers not being specific to a designed list, doom has to be the most beneficial power in any Farseers arsenal in my opinion.

Anyhows,
Speaking about Farseers i field the most powerfull, Eldrad*
every round i use 2 fortunes, usefull for own protection, one on himself and the other one to either avatar or wraithlord, prefering avatar as w/lord has no ++ saves!
I vote for fortune, yes.
Doom, ok good, but if paired with guide its deadly kicka$$
Eldritch, usefull for some fun. managed to turn a couple of vehicles, yes but i use it if i`m free of target priorities
Mind war, i like this little toy but if opponent characters/champions has a ld 10, not quite usefull. Best use vs powr fists, etc troopers

Anyway, if I could vote, I'd say Doom. Though the decision isn't easy. Doom has the best range and the best LOS option of all the psychic powers. It effects a target unit, but technically gives a benefit to every unit attacking the target unit. What more could you ask for? I'll tell you. Guide, Mind War, Eldritch Storm are only good for the Eldar turn. But Fortune & Doom stick around longer. Since Fortune only benefits one unit and Doom can potentially benefit many...Doom takes the cake.

Besides, being able to bellow DOOM, DOOM, DOOM to your opponent is pretty cool. Or saying, "My Farseer is going to Doom that unit there." is always enjoyable.

I note that you haven't voiced your own opinion? Whats up? EDIT: I can't read, apparently... :funny: For my part I've always been a "Fortune" fan, or Battle Fortune as it used to be called. The idea that I can hit my scorpions, Spiders, mounted Seers, and Shining Spears with it and give them a better save % than terminators has always pleased me greatly.

Just a side note, Doom only helps when you hit, id prefer 6 more Reaper hits rather than 1 more Reaper kill. This being in the context of so many people using doom on SMs and then hitting them with reapers anyway.
