Default Wraithlord an other convesion techniques

I was wondering that you can make models have stances using green stuff to cover up spaces and nolts in legs etc. First of all, is green stuff pricy? I think I found other objects that could take the place of it for less a price. What can you do to convert Dire Avengers and guardians? I want them to look pirate -like. Yarr......

A.U.,

It's not terribly pricy. You can actually order it in bulk-sized packages from "The War Store" website for just a little more than the tiny strips that GW sells. (Though hippocritically speaking I have always bought it locally because I'm an old RPG player who still follows the ancient mantra: "Support your local gaming store!" : )
Green stuff is king for conversions and I even use it when building models to smoothe the lines between peices.

I highly reccomend it,
Ged

There was a good article on the GW website recently about posing Wraithlords and Warwalkers.

Can be found here:

Hope you find that useful.

You could probably post this on the hobby board and you could probably get more help on it.

On a quick note,

Green Stuff is actualy called Kneadatite It comes in 2 forms Tape, which GW sells in small packs for $8.00, or cords Which are small 3 inch long x 3/4" diameter bars Yellow and Green for about $14.00. The bars are wrapped independantly in a tube, so you would get the most use out of this version.

You can get it here: http://polymericsystems.com/kneadatite.htm
Or better yet: http://www.thewarstore.com/kneadatit...sculpting.html

Here are some other cool links for working with this stuff:
I use it all the time, its perfect for working on your Wraithlord, I too am in the process of posing my wraithlord, and I plan on filling it with Green Stuff.

http://uk.games-workshop.com/convers...green-stuff/1/

One seecret, keep your fingers wet with water, and get some sculpting tools to make some nice looking shapes!
