Default How to continue building my army

Ok I am collecting Eldar now and thinking of going fo Ulthwe or an Ulthwe variant but I have yet to buy codex:Craftworld Eldar, or codex:Eye of Terror. But assuming it is just a regualar Tau force here is what I have:

1 Farseer

Baharoth

4 Dark Reapers

5 Swooping Hawks
1 Swooping Hawk Exarch

32 Guardian defenders

So what should I get next for units assuming this is a regular force? And/or what should I get if it is to be an Ulthwe force? I know I need a seer counsil and the Craftworld codex Ill get them soon just wondering what other units I need to round out my force?

Okay, a few warlocks will come in rather handy. Then, a Reaper exarch, and maybe a falcon grav-tank.

The Falcon will give you a mobile attack vehicle, and the reaper exarch can have a host of little upgrades that enhance his squad's killing power. The Warlocks can be used either to defend the seer of enhance the power of the Gaurdian squads.

You might also want to look into gaurdian support weapons, as these can be rather useful.

I agree with all of this. However definitely look into guardian support weapons. Starcannons always come in handy, especially when facing Marines (and they shall know no armour save!) Whether ur playing Ulthwe or not I recommend you get another heavy support choice, either a Falcon or a Wraithlord. I'd also recommend that you get a squad of wraithguard - excellent firepower and the ability to stand up for themselves in cc with the swooping hawks and Baharroth

Ah I had not thought about support platforms. A Falcon has been on my mind and my bro has been rattling about Wraithguard for months now just havent gotten time to get the expencive little things. Ebay would be my first choice for all those exept maybe the Exarch which was also on my mind. And Maugan Ra might be a nice lil addition aswell. Hmm.

If u get Maugan Ra won't u have three HQ - seer council, Baharroth and Maugan-Ra -anyway I wouldn't recommend Maugan Ra, he costs too much. A Dark Reaper exarch is much better value for points

In that case, so is sex. Therefore, pornstars and prostitutes are professional athletes.

I was going to tend to stay away from the bikes and the vypers and head more toward true armor. Hopefully by the time I finish my army everyone will be either rideing, mounted in a tank, or DS. But that is just cause I hate to see so many of my guardians torn up as they try to get in range of the enemy. Reselient or no its a waste.

Hmmm, if you like armour you could either
1: Buy a Dire Avenger squad and stick them into a Wave Serpent
or
2: Use the Waveserpent to transport your Guardians.

If your going Ulthwe I'd suggest a Black Guardian Storm Squad (and give 'em a supporting Warlock).
Some War Walkers would add an interesting element to that army too.

Black Guardians? Yikes I still dont have Craftworld ELdar codex I need it. I plan for a DR exarch, a seer counsil, the codex craftworld, maybe EOT and a falcon before I do anything else. From there Ill look at transports seriously I just need some more firepower and the actuall rules. Hehehe. But anyone care to give me a quick rundown of what Black Guardians are and how they differ from normal ones?
