Default Yet another Battle suit conversion.

alright so this was done last friday, but i didn't have my camera at the time, so here it is now:

I wanted to try something new with a battle suit, mostly for apocalypse with friends. this guy with be counted as a flyer and have a very different data sheet from normal xv-8s. he is equipped with 2 shield generators, twin linked seeker missiles, and a plasma rifle. thoughts for special rules would be making him a tank hunter, and giving him the 'hit and run' special ability.
the head is made to look like it has multiple sensors. possibly for night/heat vision filters. ( explaining why he has the tank hunter special rule)

well here are some more pics, enjoy:

large flying stand and base

silly guardsmen ^_^

Nice set of wings there! Erm.... I give it 2 weeks before that pole holding the models brakes. Get a solid one on there.

i don't expect to last too long either, but my friend found a way to make an almost fiber glass holding. by putting super glue on either end, and some pva glue in the middle, it creates a chemical reaction that has an insane hold.

we almost broke a base in half testing it's holding strength.

Right?? And do you just let the super glue on the top dry? Or are you meant to superglue the model to the top while its wet.

It's- beautiful...almost, just watch out for when he falls off his stand. I really like your conversion and I may have to try this myself.

Constructive Criticism: I think the Green Stuff (especially on the shoulders) looks a bit blobby. I'd have tried to sculpt it in some way that made it look more Tau-like... I mean, with Orks or Chaos, I think it'd be passable, but it looks... not so good with Tau.

Otherwise:

good job with the execution.
