Hey i was bored so i decided to build myself a custom heavy tank for the tau
This is my basic sketch of what i want my tank to look like

Essentially i am going to cut two hemispheres and have a railgun or two between them, and at the front have a cockpit and have the engines extend from either side of the cockpit.
The tank would also have another engine underneath to keep the thing in the air, and i was probably going to place missile pods on the sides where that oval with lines on it is [i was originally going to put burst cannons there but i might put some beneath the cockpit]
Just looking for some feedback, i would appreciate as many replies as possible and sorry for the bad sketch i had to do it on the computer cause i have no artistic talent ;D

Looks interesting & kind of Tau-like. Not too sure about having the railguns wedging into the top of the tank & out the other end though.

What will you be cutting the hemispheres from?

What i was going to do was get a piece of wood and cut it into a half-circle on a bandsaw then keep cutting smaller circles out to get something like stairs, then put green stuff into the spaces to make a slope ;D
And the actual model probably won't have the railgun sticking out the back so ya

Reminds me of the droid tanks from Star Wars.

But anyway, looks pretty good. Can't wait to see what you make.

AW got some bad news my band-saw has just broke and i don't know how to fix it
So the project could be put off a little until i can find another suitable material that doesn't require huge cuts or shaping, i was thinking of getting a globe and cutting that but i dunno...
