I am planning to do a scratchbuild based off a Baneblade for my Gue'vesa army but I really need help with my dimensions as I have nothing on hand to help me and I can't start my build until I find out the dimensions. I would really appreciate any help, if you have a baneblade just get it out take out a tape measure and post it up. I will fill in the measure ments as I find them out.

So i need:
Total Width = 14cm
Width excluding the tread parts (so just the bit in the middle) = 7
Width of the track parts (the other part than above) = 3.5
Height (including turret) = 7.5cm
Height (excluding turret) = 6cm
Length = 22cm
Track width = 2.5

Yeah I know there is alot ther but I really need to know.

I may make a project log but I am incredibly slow and i am sort of in the middle as to do one or not. Also where can i find tank treads the same width as whatever they are on the actual one?

why would tau use a baneblade?

all tau vehichles are skimmers, what use would they have for a tank?

So it is not strictly for my tau.

Also i am not going to buy one as it is not what i am quite looking for and I really want to make a scratchbuilt tank, plus I have no money.

I don't think so as there have been many similar topics on other forums as well as on here but in all them cases the people only ever want length width and height instead of this extra stuff.

Width without the tracks: 7cm
Width of the track parts: 3 [sup]1[/sup]/[sub]2[/sub]cm
Width of the treads: 2 [sup]1[/sup]/[sub]2[/sub]cm

For the treads, I would try ebay or the war store. Other people will probably have some better suggestions if you ask around, but I'm not that big of a modeling person outside of Citadel, so I really can't help you there. Sorry :-\.

don't worry my dad gave me an old model tank to take the treads off they are thinner but are still good (think land raider treads)
