Default WIP - Soul grinder.

Right. Some of you may remember my topic on what to do next - heres the "chapel" based soul grinder, pending daemonettes and a few odds and ends:

Criticism?

Another Slik-patented-uber-conversion-explosion i see :P

I like it, the way it's standing on its toes is very slanesh-like. - You have made it look and almost dainty; kinda like a ballerina ... in a twisted daemon-engine-of-death sorta way. ... :-X

IMO it just needs a focal point, a few delicate arms and a sweet innocent head on the top would be nice. Just to reinforce it's a daemonic engine and not an 'all metal' defiler.

It will have a focal point when im through with it - just where the cannon meets the temple part theres going to be a stripped cannoness hooked up to some form of torture machine powering the guns. The amount of wiring, needles, drills, cloth and armour remains will make a huge impact - especially when painted.

More pics available when deviant art behaves for me!

I think that it is a great idea that will fit very well with the rest of the army, I have to be careful when viewing your work, as well... I am at work.

I was wondering, about how wide are the ball joints on defiler limbs and how long do you think those limbs would be at full extension? I'm thinking of doing doing a vehicle conversion of my own (a bipedal Tau walker somewhat resembling a larger Sentinel which would count as a Railhead). Also, great job so far. The upright posture of the machine's torso and toes as it is right now are cool and distinctive, but I don't like all the extra exposed tubing.

lol the freak accidents that turn out good always make some of the best looking conversions (or they end up taking part of your finger with them)

it looks really good though, any plans on a tutu sort of thing? :P
