Default Question about Dioramas (Pictures Added)

what is a good way to convert a model's base to fit into a Diorama so it can be removed to be played with in a game?

Ok these are the WIP pics of my Diorama. It is of Lt. Varras running from the lictor (the Lt. being very wounded and an arm is been ripped off XD)

hehe, thanks. I see no one ever has a use for Varras, so I thought, "might as well!"

I'd use magnets, actually. Dremel/drill out a small hole in each of the models feet and then do the same to your display base. Glue in some magnets and there you go. For gameplay bases, you could probably get away just gluing a good and strong magnet under the base.

Hope that helped,

My financial status is actually not very well right now so buying magnets would be out of the question. I was thinking of just painting the whole base of the Lictor to match the Diorama Base. I think that would sound better.

What? I bought mine far cheaper than that. You'd probably want a mix of 1/8" and 1/16" diameter magnets which go for about 7.00 USD and 5.50 USD repectively on AmazingMagnets.com. And those are packs of a hundred. You'd be set for a long time...

last I checked, 7 and 5(.5) cents are less then 25 making my original statement accurate. I am also referring to the larger 3/8 x 1/8 and 1/4 x 1/6 magnets that I use for turrets and bases. Those are much closer to 20ish cents a piece.

BK, take 7.00 divide it by 100. That is the price per magnet. I suck at math (you have no idea, I always need a calc) but I'd guess that's about...7 cents a magnet? And 5.5 cents for the other ones?
