a while back I had the idea for a kroot shaper council(ie an elite unit of shapers for me to convert, paint and make house rules for)

the unit will probably be:

a leader with a chainsword and two hounds on leads

a bruiser

a demolitions kroot

a sniper

a modified assault rifle wielder

an ammo carrier

an older kroot(with a traditional fighting staff)

a pistolier

a knife wielder

a scout

pics will follow as soon as I have taken them

sounds good as but i think i a missing something coz i have only heard of kroot in the codex so is this like form the mercenary stuff or did u make it up, but it sounds awsome

here's the fluff:

whenever the kroot form one faction (ie the ones serving the tau empire, or the ones from a particular clan ect) have a really important batlefield task the shapers choose an appropriote sized unit from thier best and brightest and its called a shaper council

so its basiclly a kroot kill team

They sound good! Not sure if they are playable, but you could just play it as a Kroot squad or a fully sick kill-team. I await pictures eagerly!

Kunas - have you not seen the kroot mercenary army list? Theres a shaper council in it that you can fully customise.

Plus it's legal to boot (I think)

I was thinking along the lines of a specific shaper council.

just beacause somone else thought of it first doesn't mean I didn't!!
