Default Building A Titan

Due to the fact there cool and that two employees at the games workshop think I canít I will now be scratch building a Titan. Now I have a huge amount of help because one of them owns a titan and its in the store so next week with a little tape measure and a camera I will be taking a ton and a half of pictures. Then I will build a rough one out of cardboard so when am making parts and I want to play with sizes a bit I will have one to compare it to. You know to see if the parts I make are too small or too big. Now does anyone have any tips ideals or hints for me as I set out?

I actually plan to make a titan of my own if i can scrounge a copy of the rules and a butt load of useful bitz for free 9or close to it).

Plasticard/mount board/balsa wood will be your best friends for the project, Light weight, and durable if cut correctly. Also think outside the box. But inside another... scale models. These will have a mass of bitz you can use to style the titan or use as a basis for chasis and leg components etc.

Also... your friends bitz boxes should be raided at any cost.
here is one of the best scratch builds i've ever seen.

Well thatís about what I had planed to make it out of. Also I have found plans for a warhound Titan but its really boxy and would look bad if I use the patterns but will help in the planning. Also I think that is a horrible scratch build and I hate it. Its not that am stuck up or anything but it looks like tons of bits stuck together and over all it looks not very Titan like.

Yeah, I have never done scratch building, but I guess making the "frame" out of plasticard or something and then useing bitz for details, weapons etc. is probably the best way to do it...

Off-topic: super0sonic, you don't happen to mod Halo CE do you?

Good luck. You'll need it, as I think that no one has actually finished a titan here.

A stompa actually takes MORE time to make then a titan IIRC.
