Default Second Firebreather

Back in Jan I made this guy for the KJ competition:

And I figured I should make the rest of the squad of Burna Boyz like I had originally intended to.

I've only done one more, who's been in the Workshop for months, and I decided today to finish him off.
Not painted yet - havent even scraped the mould lines.
But the basics are done.

Any good?
Any suggestions as to how I can improve it?

Also, I'm looking for ideas for the other Burnas - I want to make each model different.
I've thought, maybe have one swigging from a fuel can?
Another idea was to have one throwing a bucketload of burning fuel- would be a challenge to model, though...

Cheers

Very nice. Your ideas for the other ones are great too. How about one who's caught himself on fire? He could be running with both his hands/forearms burning.

Yeah, maybe I'll do a step-by-step guide at some point, with photos and everything.

Although it's a very hit-and-miss approach I use. It normally takes about 5-10 tries to get it looking right, and each try takes some time, so you need patience :P

For the 'breathed' flames, I have a thin rod of plasticard as the base (you can see it in some of the pictures, near the nostril). I add a blob of GS - not too much! - applied all around the rod, but more at the front, with a rounded end.
To make the flames, I use a small pair of plier - one of those multitool things - and pinch a small amount of GS, lifting it away from the bulk and so extending the flame. A bit on the end of the extrustion will tear off onto the pliers, leaving a thin, ripped effect that looks a bit like flame.
Proceed to do this all over the GS.
Then screw it up and start all over again.
Repeat

Thanks. I actually had the same idea myself! Would be interesting to model, certainly :P

Perhaps one who has (as immature as this sounds) fire coming out of his ass?
