Default Vectored Retro Thrusters

So I'm trying to make Vectored Retro Thrusters out of an SM Jump Pack. I've got the thrusters with their intakes seperated off and I'm trying to figure out where to mount it. I've looked at a couple spots (Thighs, Arms, Shouders, Top of Jet Pack, Side of Jet pack) and I'm somewhat iffy on them all. Anyone have any ideas?

Side of jet pack that is where they should go. Good idea though

Nothing official to say that... if you want thrusters to jet you out of combat, the rear-facing ones that GW made are possibly the worst possible location.

If you're using only two of the sphericals things on the SM backpack, put them on the side of the pack (on the round thing) of the suit, orientate them to front to show they're used to disengage the shas

hmm. I was thinking of using the Air intake parts as well(not the center piece.. that I'm going to modify up and use for a Stim Injector since it already has a couple hoses), though maybe I'll Cut the intakes off. Though I could just position those in reverse as well.

I like going for dramatic poses
Flying backwards and shooting gets the point across fairly well

An idea I had was to make the legs look more agile like he could jump out of the way. I personally achieved this by adding an extra joint to make the leg look like a dog's rear leg. Doing this also added more room to glue possible leg thrusters. I'm not sure if you want to go that far with your conversion, but I just thought I'd share.

Welcome to the forums Yoshinator, and that's an excellent idea you pose. Is it something you've done before, because I just might do that on my next crisis (arriving in the mail tomorrow). If you've done it before feel free to post some pics of it because it sounds really cool.

Edit: Yeah, I re-read your post and saw that you said you did indeed do the conversion. My mistake.
