Default Wing sizes

Hello happy people!

Some of you around here may have noticed I'm going to tackle Witchhunters, namely the battle sisters.

Now, Iv'e got the ideas behind my cannoness all sorted out: base it on the ideas that I roughed out in a previous topic - but with more fancyness. One of these things is having wings. Yes, I know that they are rather done too much for connonesses - but from what I have seen they are just Celestine with wings bolted on. My cannoness is to be done from other parts and the such - making it a more developed Miniature. (I hope)

Now this brings up the topic at hand: Wing Sizes.

Can someone tell me what the biggest set of wings are in the GW range? I Would also like it if I could have a variety of wings with their lengths. I personally think the largest set of wings belong to the Lord of change.

Am I right?

Thank you in advance.

The Lord of Change's wings are indeed large, but they are also metal and don't really look like angel wings(which I assume is the desired effect). With a bit of work, I could see the plastic wings from the Bretonnian Pegasus Knight being used effectively. I think if you look on Game Workshop's online store, you can find just the sprue with the Pegasus wings. The giant eagle wings are also available, but metal, as are the wings from the Empire's "Karl Franz on Griffon."

Hope this helps

Heya, if it's wings you're looking for - I'd check out the Reaper line.* They've got some great angelic figures with good wing spans.

I'll check for a link and post it back here.

Edit Here you are.

I don't understand what your problem is with metal. In fact I want metal wings - they are easier to bend into the shape that I want to give them more life and dynamics.

BTW people - I'm thinking of a butterfly idea: Two main, large wings, and then two smaller wings underneath - just to try and steer away from the nog-standard image.

FE: I thank you for the link - but they are not from a site that is none GW. That means i'm a bit iffy about ordering from them.

They should be pritty good on their shipping. I ordered stuff from them when I was in college in FL for my D&D figure.
