OK, without going too far into the fluff, I have a lost and damned army that has taken what they can from fallen enemies to increase the potency of the army as it has grown. The leader of this intergalactic band of trouble makers is a chaos lt with demonic flight , a kai gun, and power fist. So far the conversion goes something like this( I'll try to post some pictures soon)
Body: Tau battle suit. Legs: Tyranid Warrior. Right arm: Terminator heavy flamer ( Modified as follows: Heavy stubber barrels razorback weapon sensors. chains with skulls and severed tau heads dangling from it. Left arm: Terminator powerfist.
So far it looks pretty cool, but this beast needs a head. Any Ideas?
Any other ideas for cool parts to incorporate into the conversion are appreciated.

Why would you say that? The arms and legs are the right size, the gun is only slightly longer than a fusion blaster, and this represents a chaos LT that is mutated and using a captured battle suit for armor. The Kai gun fires pure rage transformed into physical force so there is no need for a magazine. I'll post pics, but you really didn't help much. I'm trying to find a head that looks suitably demonic and is the right size for a body the size of a XV8.

I'm sorry, but a big barrel body (I'm not a fan of Tau suits) with 'Nid legs just doesn't seem like it would go together. I didn't say that it's not working; I just need pictures to really see what you're going for. I wasn't trying to be insulting.

As far as finding a head, just check out the Chaos range. I'm sure you can find something demonic with Chaos, seeing as how Chaos has all the demons.

You should also check out the LotR stuff. The only thing that game is good for is conversions :P

the only head i can think of would be a standard head from the beastmen sprue.

I have to disagree with the LotR comment above. The game is great fun and I know at least 5 people in my area that play in semi-regularly. Plus the models are (in general) excellently sculpted and a joy to paint.

Plus that fact that if you use Lord of the Rings bits then your conversion will be illegal for use in official GW sanctioned events. Some stupid legality issue with New Line Cinemas.

I'd stick with looking in the Fantasy and 40k bits for a head.

Thanks for your support. I didn't want to get too far into the fluff because this is not the fluff board, but maybe it will help to answer the why would you even try this question that is apparently on everyone's mind.

My army fluff is almost always game driven. I had recently given a pretty good amount of tau to my brother after I traded everything I could.
In a game VS my lost and damned a chaos aspiring champion took out his shas'O. He needed a promotion, and because the dice gods( or the entire chaos pantheon) were on his side some demonic gifts and a trophy were in order. Then it hit me what if this already mutated warrior was to grow larger and more mutated? What if the trophy was the battle suit? This could represent demonic flight! I could give him a BFG and call it a Kai Gun! But how do I make it look evil? More like a tau XV8 that is worn as armor than something piloted from inside the torso. Warrior legs are the right size and help to convey the idea that this suit is worn into battle. This is not an easy conversion. I have tested several combinations of parts and need suggestions. So please give advice if you have it, but don't try to discourage me. Just to see the look on my brothers face when an XV8 that matches his army is worn into battle by my new chaos LT will make this conversion worth while.
Now you know why, please help out with the how if you can. I'm also open to suggestions on how to make the arms look more monstrous.
