Well I had this idea to give my Crisis Suits shoulder pads.
(No really)
I was going to call them the XV-911 and give them body armor also.
(seriously I posted on this awhile back.)

Well I worked up the first prototype shoulder pads.
There done in grids so I can work out a proper scale without having to mic everything.
So the grid show but on the actuals they will not.

So here is the ruff 5 minute prototypes.

Should be good. Will they interfear with the shoulder mounted weapons/systems?

If you look at the top picture you will se that the top mounted weapon slots are free as before. :

would it work with broadsides though?
it might get in the way of their shoulder mointed railguns. ???

just mount the railguns so that they point upwards! there is always an solution to a problem, no matther how difficult it may be. And if you cant see it, just leave the quiz for a moment and the answer will pop right up into your head like a fuggin explosion. :

No they are not in the way of the mounted weapons at all.

So no worries.

I will try to get a shot when I can of them and a shoulder weapon.

OH and almost forgot.
There is no glueing.
They fit very snug and hold well so you can take them off and on as you want.

its good, but the shoulder pads are thick

I wanted them to look thick enough to actually stop bullets?
But I can use thinner plastic I have much thinner stuff if you think its really to thick?

Fire warrior pads are only a little thiner than this is so I wnated a little thicker to be stronger than theres?

I will check it out making them thinner.

I think that the thinkness is right on scale with the size of the Crisis suit. Keep on going. and let us know when your new Crisis suits from FW arive. I know you ordered some cause I believe it it you who wsaid that if it it cool looking then you can't help buying it. And they are pretty cool looking.

Ill prolly order one too, but that will in the future as Im about to upgrade my computer and just recieved about 1500pts Tau from the mail!
