Default Green stuff substitute?

Has anyone ever used playdo for green stuff? I used it to make some shoulder pads, but that was it.

If you want to save money buy it on ebay, thats pretty cheap.

BTW playdoh is to weak for minis.

wow, you managed to find something more complicated than greenstuff when trying to avoid complications...... ;D

just get green, you'll get more detail than playdogh and it looks less babyish if you have "epoxy" in your room than "playdough"

+++Well personally I use milliput, which is like GS but cheaper. I used to use the standard milliput, which is about [sup]1[/sup]/[sub]2[/sub] the cost of GS, but you get around 3x as much. However the quality was cr*p, so now I use superfine white miliput, it costs about 1[sup]1[/sup]/[sub]2[/sub] times the cost, but again, you get about 3x as much. And the quality is about as good as GS+++

Playdoh will have a variety of issues - it will crack more, is more brittle, dries out easier... you will not save yourself much - even painting over with glue/liquid nails.

You can use plumber's epoxy putty (comes in a tub) to sculpt large bits, but I would still cover that in a layer of GS for the detail work.

when I say nail glue, I'm refering to that glue your mom/sister/girlfriend uses for their nails.
