Default Guardian Advanced "AI" Weapon Suit for Tau

I

am buildin and wirting a special scenario and it will involve this Tau Special character

.
So wanted your feedback of the Conversion so far and the rules I am working on.
Heres the info about him.

The Tau leave "AI" Controlled Special

Weapon Suits behind to protect things like shield generator bunkers that produce massive

shields for their landing bases and outpost etc.
Anywhere protection for bases etc

are needed a Guardian may be there.

These AI's are left behind because

they can be left for years and they will stand by until needed.

The AI

processors used in these suits are highly advanced.
Well beyond a Gun or Shield

Drone.

This Suit is called the Guardian model.
It has the same stats as a

Broadside.
But not its weapons.
Instead it carries to sets of the Smart

Missiles. Thats 8 twin linked shots.
And it carries two advanced and oversized

Shield Generators.
Giving him a 3+inv. save X2. Thats right 2 inv. saves.

This guy is like an RPG Boss.
You know on Final Fantasy when you finish a level

and you have to fight a boss.
Well thats him.

I also changed his head

because poeple where talking about all the other optical sites and lenses and drones I

have used so this ones brand new.

He will be used

in a special bunker fight where the enemy has to get into the bunker to shut down the

shield generator for a Tau Landing base.
Once inside they will have to face the

Guardian.

As usaul let me know what you think.

This would be a little too powerful for the open battlefield, but for this special

scenario, they are fitting. However, 2x 3+ Invul saves are a bit but, maybe one 2+ Invul

save with maybe a +1 Toughness (taking it up to T5/6 I think, I don't know the

profile for Tau battlesuits).

You could write some rules for it that basically

allows you to field one for every 500 points of enemy they face (i.e. the opponents

expending a bigger force on a larger prize and the Tau realise this and place more

Guardians behind to defend it). Cool idea though.

The

point is that its only one in a game and its sort of in reserves.

Its in a

Bunker and waits to play only if the enemy get past the rest of the army and gets into

the bunker.
He cost about 150pts is what I have come up with.
So you spend

another 850 on outside troops and the enemy get 1000pts to get inot the bunker and shut

off the shield generator but find this guy waiting inside.

The INv. Save is

becuase the bunker has a blast door with a str. 14 door so they will be coming in iwth

power weapons etc. to blast the door so they should be able to blast threw him pretty

fast if he does not have some inv. saves.

Its a one only scenario and not for

aan open game table.

Thats why I was saying hes like the boss fight when you

finish a level then low and behold the strongest thing ever comes out.

THat

would be this guy.
High defense massive armour and Missiles!
