okay, so here's my idea: I want a daemonic speed lord for my death guard. i have a model for him already, but i hate it (i sculpted most of it from melted sprue, it's horrible) and i was thinking "what is a murgly way of going about speed.... so i thought and i thought and i thought, all the while looking at 40K an fantasy models, when one hit me. the lord of slannesh on steed for fantasy battles. i love the style of armor, and i love the snakeyness of the steed, but then i thought, OH NO! it will look slanesshi. so i made a plan.

Get the model, assemble most of the steed, then green stuff the torso onto the steed tail (snake-spawn type thing) get rid of the plume on the head (i can use it for an autarch or something when i start eldar) change the halberd into a khopesh (egyptian sicle sword, counts as manreaper) find a backpack and attach it somehow, then comes the main green-stuff work. sculpt a chitinous exoskeleton onto the snake part, and add lots of little legs using paper clips and green stuff. Centepede lord for the win!

Anyone have any thoughts on the idea?

anyone have any opposition/warnings to doing things this way? if possible, that would be the awesome.

sounds cool, weird as hell, but cool. How good are you with green stuff?

my skills have been improving a lot. at first it was all pustules and bellies, but now it streches as far as plates of armor and symbols. does that seem adequite? (i think i could do it)
