I was thinking about how I could make SM scouts alot cooler, and faster. I know that they can use bikes, but I wanted to make something alot less bulky: Hoverboards!

I would probly make them out of plasicard and put the scouts on top, but I was wondering: what weapons to use? shoud there be a bolter mounted on the board? or should the scoat be holding the weapon?

You could just order the boards from the DE hellion models, although they might be too techy for marine models. If they are, then plasticard will work fine Not so sure about the weapons. If you're gonna count them as scout bikes then you basically have 2 options.

1) Build them into the board. Make sure they look like they're actually incorporated into the design and not just tacked on however.

2) Stabilized mountings. Connected to some sort of backpack rig with the guns either above the shoulders on securly braced under the scout's hands (kinda like Calgar's, but without the powerfists). If you go with the second option I also recomend some sort of mechanical stabilizing rig showing that the guns are connected to his backpack and not just glued under his hands

ok, I like the second idea. I was thinking that they would be standing in a surf-boarding position, unlike the helions. and maybe melta-guns incase they get up-close and personal!

OK! update: I still need to get Plasticard, (and I have no Idea where to get that stuff) and I have a picture of what I want them to look like, and ASAP I will have it scanned on the computer for all to see! *YAY*
