Default Floaty tank not so floaty

This probably doesn't go here, but it was the closest I could find. I have my hammerhead hovering... I like it. But a day ago I was taking it out of my case, and the hovering stick broke, leaving a small part of it in the bottom hole. I dont want to, and I refuse to glue in landing gears, so how can I fix this. Could I take a modeling knife and stab the piece to make a hole? I have no wish to try it without knowing if it would ruin the hole, as I need the hole to hover. Please help, my tau aren't the same without a floaty tank.

I use a drill press to drill all of my holes.

But then again, my models don't just come with holes.

If you found a small enough screw, you might be able to screw it into the plastic kept in the hole, and then pull on it to remove it and the plastic.

Did you glue the flying stand into the hole? If you did it is less likely that you'll be able to simply poke the busted bit out. The flying stands alos use a harder, more brittle plastic, so drilling is probably the best option

Id replace the weedy plastic stick with a much arder metal one. I like to use coat hanger wire

I didn't glue it in, as I like to set it down when its wrecked.

Then you should be able to get a file or something and push it out from the other side - assuming you didn't glue in the back hatch (which is made with a hinge so you don't have to..).

Then just grab another flying stand from somewhere.

oh... heh, yeah. I did glue the hatch, next time Ill not do that.
Would it work to just use a small drill, and buzz the hole back in?

im sure it would, as long as you get the right size for the flying stand

You do not really want to push the little stub of the flying stand into the Devilfish even if you have not glued it, as it will just rattle around in there forever and drive you to madness. If you have not glued it, the drill is probably just going to push it into the tank, though.
