it looks like you have acquired either an unwanted browser plug in via windows update, or you've picked up a browser hijacker.

fortunatly you can nab a program called hijack this, and view/edit all the plugins on your browser. you can download the program and read a small quickstart guide here:

bear in mind that i couldn't tell you what is what for the plugins. i usually just yank out everything on the list and start from blank, re-installing plugins as required.

you use this at your own risk also, can't be accepting responsibility for any cock ups ^^;;

Search for spybot s&d and adaware, and run them both.. and try hijack this as well..
