I just installed Windows SP 2, for my zune. In order to make it work I had to uninstall style XP because the custom bootscreen was messing with the OS startup. So I install SP2, boot up the comp, everythings working fine, for OS startup, I pick windows XP. The BLAM!!!! all my USB ports shut off. I can't do anything because I can't use my mouse or keyboard. I have yet to try the PCI firewire slots but I belive their working because my video card is still working. What does this meen and how do I fix it?

Ah ok, so I'd assume that you have it all working now...?

I had a similar interesting problem. After installing SP2 you gain support for EHCI USB (you may know it as USB 2.0) and any ports with it are suddenly "new" USB ports that aren't readily installed.
Head to the control panel -> system -> hardware -> device manager. Inside of that scroll on down to the USB devices. Chances are that some of them will be temporarily disabled. Just pull up the properties for the device, hit "update driver," and let it roll. If it was a EHCI USB port that got boned in the upgrade then it'll rediscover it and to boot it'll work at the full 2.0 transfer rate instead of the gimped 1.1 transfer rate. Hope that helps you.
