Default Trojans ...

I have a Trojan on my computer. It's not a particularly bad one, it only affects MSN Messenger and it's pretty easily sorted, but the only problem is that it won't let me delete it. Does anyone know HOW to delete things that won't let you? Is there a programme on the net, or do you have to catch it unawares or something?

Hmm, do you know how it got there? If you could trace the source then you could at least prevent it from sending any out-going info, and of course, prevent another one from getting in. I'm not sure exactly how to deal with those things, but couldn't a program such as Norton Anti-virus or Symantec security package deal with it?

well.. if you know where it is.. its probably ur virus scanner stopping you from touching it, you can always use command prompt and manually delete it..

Nope ... no luck ... says something about not finding the patch ... so there are no programmes that would do it? Norton certainly hasn't proven capable ...
