So which would you take? Please give me good and bad points on both lists.

Both lists look good. One small problem with the dreadnought is you do not want to deepstrike your lesser deamons near it. Fire frenzy will really screw them over if they get hit with a flamer twice. It would do a ton of damage to them. You could mix the two and replace the dreads on the second with predators with havoc launchers. I like both lists while both have subtle differences.

Without tweaking the list I would take the 1st one as to be more efficient and would give you better odds.

One suggestion though, I would drop the LR and exchange it with 3 Oblits and an extra rhino.
Oblits can do more damage than an LR and you could opt to DS it w/out scatter since ur units carry icons.

Well, number 1 wouldn't do well in scoring due to it's 3 high powered HQs, but I would hesitate at #2 because I hate dreadnoughts....

#2 is friendlier.

The first one has 3 powerful HQ's, which some people really don't like (my Black Templar army gets some nasty glares from some people at the LGS :P ). Also, the combination of the Land Raider and the 2 Predators throws some tough tanks in there that again, some people may not like.

#1 is a little friendlier, the 2 dreadnoughts really bring down the competitive tone while still allowing it to fare pretty well.

The 2nd list has a lot of troops, but there's nothing wrong with that and it's signifcantly less competitive in my mind. The Land Raider still lets it retain a competitive edge, which isn't a bad thing (drop it for some shooty tanks, like the Predators and it might be a little nicer if you feel so inclined). Kharn and the GD should do fine, I might recommend dropping Kharn for your Bloodfeeder Lord simply because the latter is, again, less competitive than Kharn. At that point you may be taking too big a hit to the list for it to as well as you want.

Without tweaking though, I'd say list 2.

Essentially what I've done is used list 1 as a basis to drop the CSM and the Lord and Pick up the two dreads and second daemon unit again.

I feel this list should score me 3/5 from most players. It combines Theme, Power and a level of unpredicatability. All I need to do now is paint my bikers, land raider and the second pred... in a month. Too easy.
