I'm still tweaking my army list. : I've gotten to the point where I just want it to be done already. :P Anyway, I've settled on a rough core of 1500 points - all metal. ;D

The idea is very simple. Squad Morax forms my anchor - holding any objectives or providing cover from terrain. Squad Proclorus and Aureus ride in the Chariot and move forward, pop smoke and wait it out. They're actually much better off in the Raider than on foot as AP2/1 weapons might kill the tank, but would annhilate them.

The Dreadnaught lumbers forward and the Oblits & Talons wait for Deep Strike. On turn 2, my units disembark, hopefully some Deep Strikers arrive and I set up a bubble in someone's flank or weak spot with 7 plague marines, a land raider, Aureus, 7 terminators, and 2 Obliterators.

All in all, I think it turns a relatively slow and cumbersome list into a relatively mobile list with some durability.

Edit: oh, yeah, all of my Combi-weapons are Combi-plasmas.

I would consider dropping something in favor of a 3rd squad of plague marines, otherwise the list seems great.
