Honestly, I believe that you went way overboard in terms of the icons. Two is the best size for Icons, and they should be put on Heralds whenever possible. This is my suggestion for both your lists.

Nothing really wrong here, but a Soulgrinder would help your list in dealing with horde and also give you somehting of a fire magnet to fully bring your forces into range, seeing that they are mostly slow.

For you Tzeetchian lists, I say take Kairos over the normal Lord of Change, as for 3 points extra from your current configuration, he has all the abilities and also enables your guys to have a rerollable saves of any kind. He may be weaker in terms of pure statline, but overall he is a much more powerful choice to have.

As for the Blue Scribe, I have mixed feelings about him so I will not comment about him. Personally I prefer another herald anyway.

As for a Herald on Chariot, that is a good choice, and if possible take 4 of them, or two of them with Kairos. Put your Icons here.

As for your horrors, put them up into 10 -men squads, and try not to put as much Icons into them unless necessary. Take also a Bolt of Tzeentch in the squads for that added punch, and a changeling is alright for what it does, and perhaps the safest place if you ever want to put an icon in the troops.

Flamers, take another squad. Can never go wrong with them. 9 flamers around the board is rather scary and powerful, and with that new Marine codex rule, you want to kill them all fast.

Soulgrinder is alright, and if possible take either another soulgrinder or maybe a Tzeentchian Daemon Prince with appropriate upgrades to be used as a tagteam partner of Kairos if you every use Kairos.


Overall, if you want to be very competitive, I say go with the Tzeentchian daemons or have a Khorne-Tzeentch army.

The chariot is an option in itself and is not part of that 3 their options in their wargear. So 40kenthusiast, the Chariot is legal and is not part of the 3 alloted items that you can be armed with.

But nevertheless, 40kenthusiast is right, as I can see 4, instead of the alloted three items that they give you.

Yes! Just remember; Flamer can ignore armor save AND cover save. Each Horror can dish out 3 shots. AND RE-ROLL~ABLE SAVES! Oh, Soulgrinder is da bomb! Seriously, that thing can hit friggin' hard >

Cool. I guess that means it's time to start building. I will be ordering about 3000 points of Tzeentch Daemons over the next two weeks. Yeeeaaah! ;D
