This is my LandRaider Slaanesh Mech list.

I'm planning on taking it to a tournament but not sure. What are your thoughts.

Yo i was just thinking why not merge Lucius with a squad of termies. When they get into combat that would make them totally out rageous...lol :

I'm guessing this wasn't done with 5h edition in mind, as if i kill your 10 troops, i win the game pretty much on any objective/ take and hold/ loot etc. games on the other hand if this were an apocalypse game, i'd cackle evilly as my baneblade and 5 melta torpedos (daemonhunters) rip your land raider into so much molten slag. But if you were doing it for a fun game, it would be awesome, but in a tournament, i'm not too sure.

I think he'll be fine. Keep together, if a Land Raider looks like it's going to get popped move your Troops out - basically make sure that until you start taking objectives you keep your Marines in the Raiders, and use the guns of the Raiders and Terminators to chop up their troops.

Nobody packs enough weaponry to reliably annihilate you. I'm just not sure you have enough guns to reliably pop them.

What it lacks in troops it makes up for in the ability to stop your opponent capturing points. You can just repeatedly tank-shock the hell out of them. And if they're in a transport, ram them.

But that won't make you win, you'd have to do that none stop even to make it a draw.

The main use of this force will be, of course a control army. Because my tanks have AV 14 all round I will be able to twist and turn without the fear of exposed armour. Reliably letting me block troops, block objectives and block combats.

I like that idea of blocking everything (shooting, combat, objectives) I reckon if I versed that force i would get really frustrated, but then again it will be kindof humourous. If anything this army should be iron warriors due to all the landraiders (it would make for a siege based army, but hey thats just me). Dude if you do get this army I'm so gonna verse it >

Ha, I just realized that if you plant the land raiders onto the objectives your opponent might not even be able to get troops close enough to capture it. It's interesting, I'll give you that... I can't say i would enjoy playing that list in a friendly setting, though.

Well I'm going to GW today and this list is still in thought. God this sucks.

The question is. Do I really want it.

The thing that draws me to it, is of course the ability to field 5 Land Raiders, in one setting. I'm rellying on the sudden shriek of my opponent to truly give me satisfaction. As for the battles hit and miss anyone?
