Couple of things first. 1 - Normally I wouldn't take anything other than the four chaos icons as upgrades for units, but I need one more Daemon Prince before I can drop those points. Besides I'm trying to only use the models that I actually have. 2 - The third Daemon Prince, when I get it, will be marked Khorne. I'm trying to split the army about fifty/fity Khorne/Slaanesh.

I know that shooting will rely completely upon my daemon princesses and greater daemons. Because of this I plan on having one of each in the first wave along with one unit of blood letters and daemonettes. The only thing is wether or not to have the blood crushers come down with the thirster or the keeper...

Wave 1: Keeper of Secrets, 10 Blood letters, 10 Daemonettes, 6 Blood Crushers, Sister Annisa
Wave 2: Blood Thirster, 10 Blood Letters, 10 Daemonettes, Sister Sianna

Criticisms and comments as always are welcome, though do note that I don't have any nurgle or tzeentch models, nor do I really want to (nurgle doesn't appeal to me, and tzeentch would be too expensive for me to do what I want to do)

First of all, I do believe the term has officially been coined "Chaos Kong". ;D

Hmm...can you split the crushers into two units of 3? Because then you could drop one with either wave.

D'oh, I hadn't thought of splitting the unit. As for the Chaos Kong, I hadn't seen that name as a reference yet... And I go to a lot of sites to look. When did that become the name?

Makes sense anyway, we already have Nidzilla, Daemonzilla would just be redundant.

But yeah, I like splitting them, then the only difference between your two halves would be the GD, so losing the roll won't really hurt.

Alright, as to unit critiques.

I'm thinking Lord Kana'Rak can just go with plain BloodThirster, if he must. Neither of those upgrades is really worth it, though I guess BotBG is at least inexpensive.

I don't think I'd give your KOS the Pavane. She'd have to shoot it at whoever she Gazed and Assaulted, unlikely that she's going to need to move it around that much, and she's got Fleet anyway.

I think Sianna and Anissa can drop the Daemonic Flight, between them you've got a lot of points soaked up in wings, in a list that Deep Strikes. Just drop em close by if you want to fight, with as many Icons as you are toting they ought to be fine. In the first wave, just keep your distance a bit and blast em'.

I'm not sure about their Pavane's but I guess it can't hurt, since you can shoot the Gaze and the Pavane in the same turn.

I'm thinking Daemonette Icon bearers is pressing it. The unit is already going to be fairly close, and is very vulnerable to elimination. I'd just figure that they'll die in the first turn each game, and not give them an Icon, musician or Gaze. Their fate is rapid fire.

Similarly, I'm thinking the upgrades on the Bloodletters are perhaps not needed, as the Rending and Instrument on a unit that'll win by as much as these guys will sort of define upgrade. I'd drop half of them for an equivalent sized unit of Plague Bearers (so 5 and 5) and give the Icon to them. The half size Letters will still win any combat they charge into, and the PB's can go opposite the Crushers as secure Icon bearers.

Crushers, no argument.

Clearly, my advice flies in the face of your plans for the list. Nonetheless I urge you to consider it, I think it'll help you win more games.

Individual points costs. Or has the rule changed? Because I remember putting up army lists before with the total costs like that and it being legal. :-\

Thats pretty much been the way of things since before I started posting all those moons ago. No individual points, but whole units were alright. If thats changed then thanks to 40 for bringing that to my attention, if not... ;D
