Well here is my 1000pt list im trying to figure out there are some things im worried about at the bottom.

Well obviously I have 77pts still to fill up so I could use some wise words there. Im scared that at 1000pts my opponents will be able to bring on some really nasty models but because of the high cost of anything nurgle I cant do the same and I dont know what to take out for a tank. I do have a defiler that im itching to use but I dont know how to squeeze him in any ideas? my lord is very expensive and this worries me but the way I see it it looks like it can realy cause a whole lot of hurt in CC.

The chosen squad is costing you a pretty penny and with 2 times Obliterators are they really needed with all those meltas? If the answer is YES then ignore me, but if it is maybe or no then perhaps you should drop them or change them. Also keep in mind that your obilterators are Nasty choice.

IF you want to keep to Chosen, use the rest of the points to make it a bigger squad. Otherwise, with that Icon of Nurgle, you're paying way too much for each guy.

Although I like Chosen in general, I think that squad, as it is, will turn out to be a regular point sink. But it depends if you're going for competitive or just an idea that you like.

In the interest of competitiveness, I would drop the Chosen and use the left over points to buy a havoc squad with missile launchers (8 havocs with 4 MLs?). Then either give the havocs MoN to stick with your theme, or put a champion with a powerfist into one of your Plague Marine squads.

I'd say lose the chosen all together. Unless you are fighting 1000 points of armored company :P, they are very out of place. Lose them for either another squad of PMs and use the spare change to buff up the other squads. If you are afraid that your opponent does use alot of armor, go with another oblit and do the '3 squads of 1' setup so they can cover more area.

Another idea to think about are raptors with MoN. Lose 1 PM off both squads (with that sacred number of 7, nurgle will watch over you anyway ^-^), for a tough squad of melta raptors. Then you can swap termie armor for a jetpack. Right now, that lord is kind of a 1 man show for CC and as tough as he can be, he won't last very long against CC squads. The only other idea are demon squads to summoned up when the going gets tough. Not sure how you could work that in though :-X.....

drop the oblits for a good old defiler, defilers are my new favourite unit after taking out 19 fire warriors and 2 devil fishes with a single battle cannon shot (they had just fish of furied on my termies when a shell fell on them > im amazed i could fit it all exept for 5 fire warrriors under the template ;D

You could 2 tanks and 19 troops under 1 template 0_o ? Did you use a frisbee..........?

The template has to have the hole over a vehicle in order to be at full strength and without full stregth you would have had to have had a rear shot inorder to achieve what you have claimed.

Thats right, and don't you always use the armour value of the face of the tank that is facing u when firering ordnance? (haven't got the book with me at present). So if the template scattered behind the tank u would still use the front AV if that was what was facing you.

As for your list i would agree that dropping the chosen would be a good idea as they are expensive and very vulnerable. I would go for raptors and/or take a dakka pred as the shear amount of anti-infantry firepower it can put out on the move is great. Its only 100pts and can take out light vehicles/transports as well!
