So what do you think? This list will be used for a campaign and possibly the GT. I've gone for a fluffy type list. units of 8 berserkers, 8 different selections total as well :P

get more random daemons(hey there cheap and nothing else fits in the list)
OR replace the reaper autocannon on the defiler with TL lascannons (ive always wanted to try that exept i have never had the time to model it so im stuck with autocannons :'( )

nah mine has flamers...

First thing i find when my cannon goes is he fleets up the board. And getting a twinlinked flamer onto a tau or GEQ is satisfying.

That and i dont have enough daemon models (only have four blood letters). I was thinking more along the line of rhino upgrades, or other gear for my lord (anything but a jump pack/wings as he does not have them on the model).

I want to keep it at 8 units as well (seeing as 8 is the number of Khorne). BUT I will be willing to scrap that if someone can give me an efficient alternative.

46 points eh?

If I remember correctly that can net you 3 plasma pistols, one for the lord and two for the non-daemon vessel champs.

You could also get a havoc launcher for Maim, and change Burn's combibolter into a havoc launcher.

OR you could try and free up another 34 points and take a single obliterator since your army lacks AT a bit.

Though, while on that subject, meltabombs for the lord and the aforementioned non-daemon champs.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, hope that helps.

I like the list, my only worry is long range anti-tank.

What i would do, is drop your Greater daemon and add another Defiler.

that was my idea a while ago but thats going to cost me alot in the long run (money wise). BUT, I have enough close range anti tank to annihilate tanks later on in game. i.e. Kharn, G Daemon, 2x Power Fist, Defiler (if it loses its cannon), dreadnought... I have a heap of stuff for that.

I might give Maim and Burn a Havoc and the lord melta bombs. I'm not giving the p-fist champs melta bombs (for obvious reasons) unless i absolutely have to fill points.

drop the greater daemon and get 2 oblits that outs you 4 points above 1500(its generally allowed) it gives you lots of opportunities to take out those pesky tanks from behind (anyone thinking deep-strike?)

very fluffly list overall.

However as has been mentioned you're quite light on the anti tank.

I'd suggest either adding the 3 plasma pistols which is easy and effective, or doing something all together more radical.

I.e. drop the chaos lord and add one more berserker (maintaining your 8 man squads) and then add 2 oblits to help with anti tank death dealing. That actualy leaves you at 1444 so you could even add in a couple plasmas anyways.

the squads ARE 8 men. A Skull Champion (although part of the squad) is effectively a different unit thus has a different entry in my lists.

I'm thinking of adding a rough terrain mod to two of th rhinos (the one with my GD champ in it and Kharns) and dropping the lord... thus taking a DP with Wings and MoK. Giving me another close range anti tank. If i'm lucky I can usually hit combat in turn two (12" move in rhino turn 1 - pivot rhino to add another 4" (inc. disembark range) then move and assault a total of 12".

So long range anti tank isn't really a worry for me.

A DP with wings and MoK is 5 points less than my current lord, and although he has not as many attacks, his are stronger with better WS. PLUS a DP and GD combo is just nuts.

I'm not too sure yet however (first i have too score this GD model then find a DP model).

I want to maintain the 8 different units as well. And Oblits? Forget it, i'm NOT repainting my current three, although I could. Hmm??? But I want pretty much the three 8 man units, A DP, A GD, Kharn and the defiler. The only thing i'm willing to drop is the dread. But it's not enough for 2 oblits even with my left over points... is it?


Are Oblits fluffy for Khorne?

Well because oblits have no alliances with any one god or legion, they are basically like mercenaries. Which makes them fit into any chaos army.

If you want them, I would drop the Dread, GDeamon, and the havoc laucher on the rhino, that will give you enough for 3 oblits and slove your range tank problem.
