Drop one of the Daemon Prince , and use the points to put in more Obliterators in your army. It will help in your anti-tank department.

-Hmmm... HQ = 20% of the army as non-scoring; however the sheer mobile CC power of this configuration is not to be overlooked. As tempted as I am to reccomend that you drop the second DP in favor of more bodies, the pair are likely to make their points back and cover the advance of your slow-moving plague marines. -Good sticking with that fluffy number 7. Slow moving, but decent on the offence and solid on the defence. If used carefully they will be very difficult to disloge.

daemon princes are scoring units, there not independant characters anymore.. i think, ans i liked first list, not to keen on seven models, even numbers are better for under half strength purposes, but if its themed, and three single oblits are good, will be really irritating to opponent if used right

Daemon Princes are very much Characters, though Greater Daemons are not. It's an easy mistake to make though...

Demon Princes are not very much characters. Page 32: "Unit Type: Monstrous Creature."

Greater Demon on page 62: "Unit Type: Monstrous Creature."

Then we go to page 92.

Demon Prince, I don't see anything under special rules about independent character.

Chaos Lord though says "Special Rules: Independent Character."

Same goes for Chaos Sorcerer and the other Special Characters.

This clearly shows that Demon Prince and Greater demons (pg 102) do not count as independent characters.
