Thats right, for those of you who didn't know (like me!) The Third Omnibus for this great series is out, including books from 'Traitor General' to something around 'The armour of Contempt'

I must say, having bought this at the weekend, i am rivited by the 'Traitor General' and am looking forward to reading furthur.
Sorry if my posts are messy or unreadable. My keyboard is naff!

The Lost series, in my opinion, is my favorite story arc. Traitor General brings the Behind Enemy Lines/Spec Ops feel to the 40k series. His Last Command is an awesome story, as well as introducing some new characters. Armor of Contempt is good as well, although I don't like the ending. (If you read it, you know what happens... :'( )

However, my favorite book in the series, is Only In Death. But that's for another topic.
Yeah, bringing you another disturbing creation from the mind of one sick animal who can't tell the difference and gets stupified.

As a massive fan of the Gaunt's Ghosts series, and someone who's working their way though The Lost story arc right now, it's definitely my favorite arc and contains a close contender for favorite novel.

As for the omnibus, I must say I've been a little disappointing by the Gaunt's Ghosts Omnibuses. One of my favorite things about many of the Black Library's other omnibuses is that they quite often contain connecting short stories between their novels, something The Founding, The Saint, and The Lost don't have. I must say, however, I did enjoy Dan Abnett's little forewords, even if the one for The Lost did begin to ramble. :P

But in all seriousness, that's all I can find to really complain about when it comes to Gaunt's Ghosts-.

*Aside from some slight technological inconsistencies...

Ahhh, yes. At long last. I shall have to acquire this volume for my literary collection.
