Default Fulgrim

What can I say, its a great book, i enjoyed it as much as storm of iron. Its very dark which is good. Art and perfection on the surface but darkness beneath.

Also settles what happens to Ferrus Manus and how Fulgrim was drawn down his dark path

Seriously, you must read it.

That's correct, finished it a few days ago.

Some of it is disturbing - but then again its meant to be.

i agree that it is a fantastic book, one of the best i've read, with some really dark and powerful imagery. However, there are many people who didnt like false gods which was my previous fave book in the series. If you didnt like that you may not like Fulgrim

I must say the book is really good. Another praise to McNeill from me - none other like him to describe Chaos (he does it brilliantly in other books, too).

What I particularly liked:
- I knew Fulgrim was largely innocent. Poor him...
- I knew that there was hope for Tarvitz, a confirmation of that is great;
- I always liked old Eldy, and McNeill created a good image of him;
- there was finally a mention of sex - I was impressed, since the universe seemed to be too kid-friendly (but it's probably an exception anyway).

It's just sad that we'll have to wait a very long time before the series is on the straight path again (meaning that they'll probably do another book on the Ultramarines or something after the DA, and maybe only then we'll get to the main fight?). It means more detail though, so I'm not really complaining.
