Default Flight of the Eisenstein

although this book isnt officially out yet many games workshops seem to be selling it already, so it may be worth looking if you are as obsessed with this series as i am.

Although i'm not far into the book, it seems to start just prior to Isstvan III. The writing style is... different... making some sections a bit confusing, but looking at the dramatis personae it looks like it should be good content (featuring Typhon, woo!)

According to the redshirt i bought it from it is one of the best black library books ever written (saled pitch, only to be expected) but i am looking forward to reading the main section of the book

Which is a bit annoying actually. The problem I had was to adapt from Dan Abnett, and then over to a different writer. There are great chasms between the styles of the different writers.

I've gotta say, i'm not seeing the brilliance that i was told about... pretty good book though.

And incidentally the eisenstein doesnt leave Isstvan until half way through the book

(I know what happened to the survivors, hee hee hee)

I find Flight Of The Eisenstein pretty good, but, this author's writing style seems weird to me, or maybe thats due to me reading loads of different authors and their books, and me getting used to how they describe what is going on/who or what they are fighting, characters etc. As you turn each page, the plot/scene seems to becoming better and better. ;D

I must agree that Dan Abnett is the best writer ever, he is my favorite author, I'm loving his Gaunt's Ghosts books, so much action, fighting galore!

Its a good book, but not the best I've read. I didn't get bored, but wasn't enthralled all the way. Good, but not great.

SPOILER******************************************* *******

Ok, I assume if you're reading this line then you want to read the spoiler.

So Garro is going to be a founding member of the inquisition? And technically could still be alive, due the the immortality of the first astartes?

Bought it two days ago, though I'm still yet to read Galaxy in Flames :s so I haven't started either.

Are there...other ways of getting the book? : I can't wait half a year until it appears here (and then the translation could be shitty, so...).
