The terrain you have there at you local GW store is also top notch, it really adds to the experience when you get to play over attractive terrain. Just wondering though, what are the copper balls supposed to represent? the ones attached to the buildings.

That was another great batrep Akaiyou, nice pictures too with the illustrations, and I like the overall suit up of the Ultramarines army.

While the pictures are nice, it would be better in my opinion, if you had text to really explain what is going on. If not, at least use some kind of graphic to show movement and shooting. Looks like a good game, now get to painting.

I have to agree with Scoutfox that the lack of text really took away from the story of the battle. Nice terrian at the store though.

[Akaiyou]

This was the game that caused that Waaagh controversy. I had always understood waaagh to be fleet having no parts of RUN as it is not mentioned by RAW.

I was playing the ultramarines and winning by a landslide until that Waaagh hit me that I hadn't planned for. Which sucks if I had expected it to happen I would've moved out of the way like i did afterwards.

It was an interesting game though, because I'm starting an Ork army as well and to see how powerful Ghazghkull can be was a thing of beauty since I have planned to include him in my army as well.

As for adding text to the battle reports. That takes long, just editing the pics and adding text to 40+ pics is a chore and I made 2 battle reports. I've done so before in earlier battle reports with pics and text, so instead I try to include useful info in the pics themselves so that you may know what's going on at the time.

Right now im starting to work on the Tyranids vs Orks batrep look forward to it. I tried to topple this Ork list with my favorite army.
