Default London At Night: Aerial Photography

Enjoy. It's strange seeing some of these spots from the air after walking around them, in the same way it was strange gliding over the town in which I live after having lived there for 15 years!

I have to say I'm really not that impressed.
Living in London I know there are much better photos around than that, especially from the air!
One big MEH.

I disagree, I quite like this London shots and actually wouldn't mind one for myself, I don't know what it is but I really like the pictures. It may sound silly, but I like the way the City looks so still (being a photo... :P) and calm and yet very vibrant and alive at the same time.

I think those are pretty neat. I've never been to London, of course, but the pictures are very vibrant and the colors are pleasing to the eye.

That's about as deep as I can get with photography, sorry. :P

Meh, I didn't post them for people that already know the place. Just thought they were nice shots for people less familiar with them (and photographing them).

I'm glad you other guys like them. The one with the neon signs, I remember standing on the left looking up at them when I went to see Combichrist last year. Not as dazzling during the day mind. Neither is Buckingham Palace come to mention it, though it's a nice place.

It could be anywhere in the world, but I just don't rate the photos. They do nothing for me, the composition is crap and anyone with a half decent slr can get colours like that from a shot if they know how to use it.

You're quite right. No one is forcing me to like them either, but when I see a thread on photography I become interested. I look through it, and comment appropriately. No one is forcing you to read my posts or respond to them, but you still did.
I'm entitled to my opinion, especially when it comes down to something artistic, and thus entirely subjective.
It's not like I've said the guy was the worst I've ever seen, or that I think you should be scalded for spreading such mundanity in an 'artistic' board.
I just don't rate it. Let's just leave it at that because there is nothing personal toward you or the photographer in question (aside from this body work obviously).

I wasn't being particularly serious about it.
