Default Adding a New Army

Adding A New Army

To add a brand new army (or to add your first), type in the name of your army into the text box provided to the left (see screenshot below):

Once you have your name typed into the box like so, select the codex your army uses, like so:

Once you've done that, hit the 'Add Army' button:

You should see something like this:

Default Adding a New Unit

Adding A Unit

Now you have your army added, you can add units to it!

To start, simply scroll down to the 'Add A Unit' form:

As you can see, there are lots of info you can add. Starting from the top:
  • Unit Template: Several of the armies have pre-done 'unit templates' you can use. Simply select one that best resembles your unit and then edit it from there.
  • Army: Which of your armies does this unit belong to.
  • Section: Which section (or Force Organisation Chart section) of the army list does the unit fit into. HQ, Elites, Lord choice (for Fantasy) etc
  • Unit Name: The unit's, erm, name. Good examples include 'Khorne Lord Arnell', 'Gutbag's Buster Boyz' etc
  • Unit Type: What is unit type is the unit? Is it a Howling Banshee Squad or an Ork Boyz squad, or even a Warboss?
  • Points Cost: How many points does the unit cost (after all upgrades)
  • Model Count: How many models (excluding transports and attached independent characters/heroes, but includes unit champions) does this unit comprise of
  • Notes: Anything of note about this unit? Perhaps a little bit of fluff or tactical advice on using them?
  • Number/Squad: A detailed breakdown of the unit, for example, "9 Space Marines and 1 Veteran Sergeant"
  • Wargear: Any weapons, upgrades or magic items the unit may have.
  • Other Upgrades: Things like vehicle upgrades, psychic powers, bound items etc
  • Transport: Any transport details you may wish to include
  • Unit Image 1, 2 & 3: These are for uploading images of your models should you desire.
  • Painted: How far have you got with painting this unit as a percentage. 100% should be for fully painted and based model. 0% is for unprimed models.
  • Modelled: How far have you got with assembling this unit as a percentage. 100% should be for fully assembled. 0% is for units on the sprue or yet to be purchased.
  • Battles Fought: How many battles (if any) have this unit fought in so far.
  • Battles Survived: How many battles (if any) have this unit fought in and survived until the end?
  • Number of units to add: If you've got multiple identical units to add, say so here!

Fields that have a red * star next to them are mandatory, by the way.

Once you have all the info you want to include, like this:

Hit the 'Add A Unit' button. Your new unit entry will then appear (barring any errors that may crop up). It'll look something like this:

Congrats, you've just added a new unit!

Default Army Subset Management

Managing Army Subsets

Army subsets are a means of breaking up a large, unwieldly army list(s) (especially for those of us who have large collections) into smaller, arbitary chunks.

You can have as many subsets are you like and can be created for a variety of reasons. Perhaps you want to create several lists aimed at different points levels (1k, 1.5k, 2k etc), or want to seperate your Khornate units from your Nurgle units!

Whatever the reason, adding a unit subset is pretty straight forward. To do so, select which army you want to add it to by clicking it's name on the 'army table':

Then simply type in a name for your subset, like so:

Then hit the 'Add Subset' button:

Which will give you something like this (the freshly added subset his highlighted for you):

As you can see, there isn't any units added to it. So we'll add them now:

Click on the 'Manage Army Subsets' button the right hand side:

You'll see this if you scroll down (I've added a few units and a few subsets):

This screenshot shows how you add units to various subsets by finding the unit you want to add in the list, then checking the relevant checkboxes for the subset(s) that the unit belongs to.

If you want to know how many points you have spent on a single subset, the Subset table summary table lets you see them at a glance (provided you have javascript enabled):

Also, if you have a specific point limit in mind, there is a box provided for you to enter it (without commas). As you can see, I've entered 1,500 points in here:

If the points limit turns green, your within your set limit. If it's red, your over the limit!

The second checkbox on each line also enables you to turn on an alert (if Javascript is enabled):

This allows you to get a better idea of how many points you have left to spend (without having to scroll up after each unit):

When your finished editing your subsets, simply hit the "Make Changes" button at the bottom of the units:

Default Adding Battle Reports

Adding Battle Reports

If you guys have a few battle reports posted around the forums, you may want to link them to your army lists so they appear down the side.

To do so, hit the Edit Battle Reports button the right hand side:

You'll get this screen:

To add a new battle report, simply type the Subject title you gave your forum topic when you posted it in the forums into one of the boxes provided:

Once the available topics pop up (it may take a few seconds), select the correct topic from the list provided, like so:

Just rinse and repeat with the other boxes.

Then just hit the "Make Changes" button:
