Default names for rogue trader stuff

The title is not referring to 40K 1st edition but to the rogue traders. I am writing a ships log for the fluff/stories board and I asked these questions there but got no response. So without further ado, I need a cool name for a ship, English is fine but latin better, and a few low gothic names with maybe the odd higher one.

Thank you in advance.

Just look up names of real ships on Wikipedia and pick one that you think looks cool.

Then perhaps latinise it.

Depends on how it's captain is. If he's all religious it could be Lux Eterna, which means Eternal Light, if i remember correctly. Try and give a short description of it's captain. Much easier that way

Captain is probably a money worshipper (not literaly) but was reasonably important (hense the need for the odd high gothic name).

There is a lot you can do with names of British Merchantmen. Might give you some ideas

http://www.merchant-navy.net/alphalist.html.

I named my corvette the Autumn Rose and my bulk cruiser the Errant Pilgrim.

OK the ship will be called the starcrest. The starcrest was the only ship of the rogue trader fleet that survived a battle with chaos.

I still need names for the crew and captain though.

The captain is also the last member of his family left alive, the rest either failed to evacuate medusa V or were killed in the fight destroying the fleet.

Captain Johnathon Dionn, of the Starcrest?
Erm...
First mate Richard 'Gladius' Walker?
Navigator Frances 'Sick and Tired' Vane?
Engineer Jimmy 'Screws' Smythe?

I've got a few, those aren't that good, just on the spot, but if you need any help, give me a bell.
