Not a full-blown planet. Something more on the order of a moon, IIRC, which I probably don't...

They were not originally but have grown over time.

Thats no moon, thats a craftworld!

Yes, they can be up to the size of a small planet, and definately moon sized. They are the last bastions of a dying race, after all.

The larger Craftworlds, Alaitoc, Iyanden, Ulthwe etc are about the size of Terra, others are significantly smaller. Although they are not planet shaped generally (they have the mass of a small planet, but not the height and generally are elongated)

The important thing to remember is that a Craftworld (unlike a regular planet) can grow. It is constructed of Wraithbone - which means it can be repaired, expanded, and harvested to build Wraith constructs or other equipment. Cool deal, eh?

Neato. They're covered entirely in a big city? Or are there other things there too... BTW, are there any Eldar BL books?

You also have to consider the craftworld's fleet, which will probably have as much of a civilian population (or what passes for one in such a society) as the craftworld proper does.

I think that they actually say something like that in Warrior Coven, when they first see Ulthwé.
