Default The blades of Vaul

This has been on my mind every since I heard of it. If vaul forged 100 blades of unsurpassed craftmenship then what happened to them? The only reference Ive found is that farsight uses the 100th and most powerfull blade. any info or theories would be appreciated.

P.S. wasn't sure whether to post it here or in the eldar forum so feel free to move it.

Check out this link. It'll tell you the story. They were destroyed by Kaelis Ra.

That story never actually says the blades were destroyed. The bearers of the blades were killed, but it's entirely possible they just fell to the ground and were picked up later.

"The blades were found later by Dalel the unimportant, and were used to open up a highly profitable hair-spliting business. Unfortunately, when Dalel was caught in a robbery, he found out that Vaul had skimped on the handles, and the blade flew out of his hand. It drifted through space for aeons, until smacking into an old planet, which Farsight was exploring. He realised that the blade was perfect for sticking Orks, and proceeded to use it in the manner of heroes. Dalel, however, ended up a paraplegic."

The hundredth blade was not the most powerful straight away, it was originally made lifeless and weak, then Vaul reforged it into Anaris.

Didn't Eldanesh use Anaris to imprison the necrons or something?

It is possible that the Dawn Blade is one of the Blades of Vaul, although it is just as likely that it is a Daemon-weapon or a weapon of the Necrontyr or a relic of some other unnamed species. We just don't know at this point.
