Default Do eldar ever change?

Do Dark Eldar ever go and join a craftworld or maided world? Or would a craftworld go and join other eldar? I've pondering this question for awhile

Dark Eldar and Eldar are never nice to each other. But Eldar rangers just kind of roam, they are outcasts that eventually come back to their own Craftworld, but I'm sure they visit other Craftworlds.

We see a culture that is strong and despise it as crude.

It's extremely improbably that Craftworlders or Dark Eldar would end up changing camps, in my view. Some Craftworlders certainly fall from grace and walk the 'Path of Damnation', but they are much more likely to become Outcasts and join one of the more savage Eldar Pirate groups (which are not the same thing as Dark Eldar). Dark Eldar would be secretive and highly suspicious in general; I don't think that any Kabal would have any compelling reason or desire to accept a fallen Craftworlder into their ranks. Even if the Craftworlder had useful information, they'd just torture it out of them.

At the other end of the scale, I can't see many Dark Eldar devoting themselves to the discipline of the Paths, or Craftworlders trusting them not to fall back into their old ways. Indeed, Dark Eldar might be unable to reform, due to the Thirst (constant soul-draining by Slaanesh when their souls get 'attuned' to the Chaos God due to hedonistic lifestyles). It's not clear if that's irreversible or not.

Psh, you don't need to change something that is already perfect. :

An interesting factor, however, is the Harlequins. It is known that Eldar from all walks of life; Craftworlders, Dark Eldar, Eldritch Raiders, etc. are inducted into the ranks of the Harlequins.

EDIT: Wooo! 2,000 posts!

Does this mean that it would be acceptable (from a fluff standpoint at any rate) to use Harlequin units in a Dark Eldar army?

Absolutely; Harlequins will fight with any Eldar faction.

Assuming they have a reason to be there at that particular time; they wouldn't join anything permanently.

Why would a Dark Eldar player want Harlequins when he already has Wyches?

That's beside the point... Harlequins are a poor-man's Wych if you use the new rules, but if you use the rules I do (the EOdex), they're a sweet unit to have.
