We have known since... ooh... 3rd Edition at least that the Exodite Worlds were as far from the Eye of Terror as they could get, simply because those were the last worlds terraformed by the Eldar Empire, and so were still "feral", rather than a tranquil paradise.

In short, nothing new has been revealed.

Plus, the exodites were trying to flee the Eldar Empire, which was centred on the Eye of Terror, so naturally they went for those worlds as far away as possible i.e. mostly the eastern and southern fringes of the galaxy.
