Post what you think will be happening as the 41st mellemium starts?

I think that the Necrons will begin to wake up in large numbers, causing the Imperium to go Exterminutus on each tomb world. The Orks will be roused by a great warlord, able to somehow control the rest of the green horde, then smashing into Imperial space. Tau are going to go unnoticed for a very long time, until they actually grow big enough to seize several Imperial worlds. Eldar will wage a big war on the Dark Eldar, and one side will be destroyed. Another Leviathan will finnaly get past Ork space, and head right for the heart of the imperium. Another hive fleet will show up as well. A race will emerge from out side the astronomican, and threaten to fringes of the galaxy.

So to recap, IMO
Necrons will be nearly destroyed, one of the Eldars will be destoryed, Orks will organize, and Tau will grow.

It has ended. Latest fluff is 999.M41, so we're going to start afresh in the 42nd millenium.


I do not have high hopes for the next millenium... I'm hoping someone will sort out the fluff again, but I'm not counting on it. It will probably have a lot of fanboy-ism - favouring Tau and 'Nids mainly - and everybody will forget that the Imperial Navy even exists.

I think a single, well though out Imperial Crusade would do the fluff a lot of good. Imperial military fluff is becoming a mess as many major organisation get ignored over minor influences such as the Inquisiton's chamber Militants and the Ultramarines, but they'd probably have to sort that all out for a major Crusade of conquest.

It would be nice to see another Macharius show up and lead a crusade against Tau/Orks/Chaos/ect...
