Default The Dream City Of Death

Ok I have always wanted to play a board were the terrain changes dramatically through out the game, so i decided to build one myself. ;D

My ideas so far.
Destructable Terrain: Building two of each building (1 intact , 1 runied)
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * give a great tactical change into
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * the game.
* * * *
* ** Examples:* Imagine a vidacator hidden behind a building destroying all its path, when all of a sudden the walls crumble from a missle launcher shot and leaves the vidacator in the open....sound intresting, or maybe?

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** 10 snipers locked in a building taking out mass of your units when the building falls down crushing all inside it....Still not taken in?!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** the last turn of the game your enemy sends his landspeeder to claim the objective, but in its path is a bridge! you shoot down the bridge stopping the landspeeder from getting to the objective!... Now thats Impresive huh!

Adding more to the Game!
we all know we can get up and around on the floor but what about if a dreadnought suddenly appears in the building above! HOW DID HE GET THERE your enemy will say!...well now with the added elevators from the buildings you can now get more than your scouts on the high ground!!

No Rihnos No problem!
Adding Gondolas to get around on the high will make you feel like a school boy again! But when your enemy blows up that gondola well you wish you had your mummy!

Well this is all the ideas i have so far so be nice please ;D More Ideas will be added when i think of any :P

thats not that bad an idea but if you use magnets you could use 1 model for each building and have it to where as it takes damage you can remove chunks relative to the power and direction of the weapon thats doing the damage .

If it is possible, I would build each of your buildings in two pieces with jagged boundaries. The upper half could fit together with the lower half to form the intact building, and the upper half could be removed to represent the ruined building. Then all you need is a bunch of "rubble" stands to litter around when it is damaged. It saves you the trouble of having to lift the entire terrain piece off the board (moving any models that were inside). It also makes it easier to place infantry inside relatively intact structures.

Hmm, magnest would be awsome, you would need to make the framework of the biulding first and then attach panels to the sides with magnets... Wow, that would make for a fun mission; men hold up in a building firing on all sides, but wait, the stealth team planted a charge on the left main support! Down comes the building. But some still stands, but the inhabitantas are shell shocked and vunerable...

Cool idea!!! I think I will make one too except jungle terrain
Many years of practice and experience has narrowed my entire game stratigy down to this!!! (Broadside+Railgun=Me winning)

Ive been tempted to do this on some terrain pieaces for necromunda. You know how you can shoot on stuff like oildrums and tanks, and they go boom? now THATS cool
