Default Demiurg Works

I posted this over on the Minor Races Boards, but since not everybody looks there, I felt it best to get it some extra exposure. I'm not sure which board it should go under, as it covers a very wide range of topics. Obviously it's relevant to the 40k Universe more so than a strict discussion on the 'Specialist Games', so I still feel Creations is the correct rough placing for it. Correct me at you leisure though. I have been known to be wrong before!

Anyhow, this is it, the big 'un.

Enjoy.

Thanks for that, I've read your entire codex and am thinking of ways to incorporate Demiurg into 40k. One of the thoughts I've had so far was to have Demiurg overseer like units, which would be a single Demiurg with armoury options. They would either be included in the troops choice, and function much like IG command sections, or be bought as HQ's and placed independently. Either way the most you'd ever see would be about 8, and that'd be filling up on troops and HQ's. There purpose would not be as fighters, but rather to bolster morale and provide cool wargear which would help out the Automatons, rather than doing any fighting themselves. One thing which we seem to have agreed upon is the option for lots of extra limbs, which I think should function similar to Servo Arms, but have other functions as well. Just some thoughts.

Nice, again I love your demiurg work.

Good idea Shas'O Shir'Rin, although it would be very "Guardesque" I like that idea. Like (using IG platoon rules) the JO is demiurg, with a command group of maybe one other demiurg and some mechs, then the other squads are all mechs. If the demiurg dies, there is slightly bad affect, but it would function well, IMO.

That was the idea, although I was thinking more along the lines of independent Demiurg with the optiion to take some kind of mech body guard.
